Msgr. Angelo Cella MSC, Auxiliary Bishop of Palermo, Emiritus, passes away in Rome, Italy
ROME, Italy - Msgr. Angelo Cella MSC, Auxiliary Bishop of Palermo, Emiritus, passed away on May 27 at 10.30 at Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome. His Excellency Msgr. Angelo Cella is from the Italian Province. He was born at Gorgo al Monticano on December 20 1923. He made his first profession on September 16 1943. He was ordained priest on December 18 1948. He was made Auxiliary bishop of Palermo on October 7 1975. His funeral was on May 29 at 11.00 at the sanctuary of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart at Piazza Navona, Rome.
