| ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands - Father Wim Lommertzen MSC passed away in Rotterdam in the early morning of July 6. He was a member of the Dutch province. He worked for 28 years as a missionary in Papua. Born in Roermond on November 14 1918, he joined the society on September 21 1937. He was ordained priest on August 10 1943. |

Fr. Jules wanted to found a missionary Society that would have as its purpose to bring God’s compassionate and merciful love to human beings as the remedy for the evils that afflicted society.
