Happy Feast day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus!

Dear Confreres,

Before Holy Week, we, the members of the General Council, had our retreat in Sutri, in the Generalate of the MSC Sisters.  The four of us, Mark, Arci, Wahyudi, and Tino, took turns in facilitating the retreat topics which were taken from different chapters of the book by Fr. André Mayor, Fifteen Days with Jules Chevalier.  (As of this writing, there is no English edition yet of this book; it is in French and Spanish.)  The talks of each day’s facilitator were enriched by our group sharing following our personal reflections on the topics.

Since this is our message for the Feast  of the Sacred Heart, let us share with you what we shared on “The Pierced Heart,” the “tenth day” of the book.

"Jesus was happy to pour out the tenderness of his Heart on little ones and the poor, on those who suffer and on sinners, on all the miseries of humanity. The sight of any misfortune moved his Heart with compassion."
