Cor Novum Announces 2008 Schedule

ISSOUDUN, France - The Cor Novum team has recently published the program schedule for 2008. The program is designed in such a way that each individual seminar will foster a holistic living of the Spirituality of the Heart as it is expressed by the charism of the Jules Chevalier. Most of the seminars are available in English, French, German, Dutch, Indonesian and other languages. 

Spirituality of the Heart. January – March 2008 (Australia)
A series of four 2 week seminars will take place in NSW and Victoria.  The first week will be input and sharing; the second, a retreat.  For further information please contact the FDNSC Province in Australia. 

Pilgrimage to Wissembourg. 26–31 May 2008 (France)
Following in the footsteps of Marie Louise Hartzer to mark the 100th Anniversary of her death. This Pilgrimage is being organised by the European FDNSC Provinces. For further information please contact the FDNSC Province in France.  
 
Spirituality of the Heart: Care of Ageing Communities. 8–21 June 2008 (Issoudun)
This program offers an opportunity to reflect together on the quality of our attentiveness to our ageing provinces, communities, individuals.  In the light of our Spirituality of the Heart, we will attempt to explore a creative approach to the holistic care of ageing members: physical, spiritual and psychological.  This program is of interest for those whose ministry is to the aged, as well as leadership responsible for the overall management of communities/provinces with predominantly ageing members. Languages:  English, French, German, and Dutch. Cost: 1,000€.

Spirituality of the Heart: Yesterday: Today, Towards the Future. 13–9 August 2008 (Issoudun)
This session gives members of the Chevalier Family the opportunity of following in the footsteps of Jules Chevalier.  Participants will visit places connected with Fr. Chevalier in Issoudun, Richelieu, Bourges, Paray-le-Monial.  Conferences, reflection, and sharing on themes connected with our founder, charism and spirituality all in the light of our lives and ministry today, challenge and re-energise!    A retreat during the third week of the program is included. Languages: English and Portuguese… (see below). Retreat Opportunities
Cor Novum team offers a variety of retreat experiences, of varying styles and length, ranging from a 30 day to a 6 or 8 day retreat.  This includes personal accompaniment, and/or spiritual input and other reflective experiences in accordance with the desires of the person/group.  All retreats are offered from the perspective of fostering a holistic living of the Spirituality of the Heart.  Such a retreat may be held in Issoudun or elsewhere. Sabbatical Program (Issoudun)
Purpose: to experience life in Cor Novum’s international, inter-congregational setting at the place of our foundation. There are various options: to receive individual spiritual direction, to pursue personal interests in our founder’s spirituality and charism, to follow one or more of the scheduled programs, and /or to enter into a 30 day retreat experience.  Such a program would be designed according to the needs and wishes of each participant. The Cor Novum team will accept, after consultation, interested candidates for a period of 3 months or less from February - July 2008. N.B.    The first day listed for each program is the date of arrival.  The last date is the day for departure.

FOR 2008:  Simultaneous translation into any language depends on there being at least three participants for that language.  The possibility of adding another language for a program is indicated by: “…”

Registration for any program given at Issoudun should be made through the participant’s provincial at least four months before the start of the program.
